Texas General Land Office requests Competitive Sealed Proposals for the following project:
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Texas General Land Office (“GLO”) seeks a highly skilled contractor for coastal construction services for the construction of approximately 3,300 linear feet (LF) of Beach Nourishment to restore damages to Jamaica Beach during Hurricane Ike. The project area is located within the city limits of the City of Jamaica Beach, in Galveston County, Texas (the “Project”).
The overall goal of the Project is to repair damage from Hurricane Ike and to reduce the effects of coastal erosion. The objective of the beach nourishment is to increase resilience to the coastline, protect coastal habitat, and provide increased protection to infrastructure behind the beach.

Please search under Agency Code 305 (General Land Office and Veterans Land Board). The Respondent’s failure to periodically check the ESBD will in no way release that Respondent from addenda or additional information resulting in additional requirements of the Solicitation.
