AISD 21CSP068 - DISTRICTWIDE - KITCHEN HOOD SUPPRESSION SYSTEM [ADD-01]
Austin ISD requests Competitive Sealed Proposals for the following project:

IMPORTANT HUB INFORMATION:

    SCOPE OF WORK:
    Design and install new Ansul R-102 system in accordance with current NFPA 17 and NFPA 96 standards, the Authority Having Jurisdiction, and the manufacturer current installation instructions. System to include all materials for a complete wet chemical kitchen fire suppression system. All materials and components are to be new, and all exposed piping to be chrome plated. Only system components referenced or specifically permitted in the manufacturer’s design, installation, and maintenance manual shall be used. The work shall include the disconnection and reconnection of electrical power shutdown circuit from the existing to the new suppression system control unit, and the removal and replacement of the existing gas valve. Existing system components to be removed and properly disposed.


    ESTIMATED PROJECT BUDGET:

    Grouping 1 (35 Locations): $280,000
    Grouping 2 (35 Locations): $280,000
    Grouping 3 (32 Locations): $320,000
